60 Years of Tradition
Antonio Benivegna’s history in the building business began when he graduated from school and started working with his father. He married his wife, Alberta, in 1939, received his builder’s license in 1951 and went out on his own.
The number on his builder’s license is 97 and he is proud that in all these years his customers have been satisfied with his work. The secret of his success, he says, “Is be yourself, treat people like you’d like to be treated and if you hear of a complaint, fix it.” This kind of positive outlook along with a gentle sense of humor pervade his remarks.
Today thousands of homes bear the Benivegna signature. The unique combination of Old-World artistry and today’s most progressive ideas in architecture have been carried on by Ron Benivegna the son of Tony and Alberta.
Tony Benivegna is active in the Building Association of Southeastern Michigan serving on the Board of Directors. “If nothing else, I love being part of it.”
